People who want an excellent musical style which sets the ambiance for an event. My music is in the background, and guests enjoy it while comfortably talking.

I am a background pianist/keyboard player. My music enhances your event with a upbeat, high-level musicality,

Why should I book you to play for my wedding, party, or event?
I have been working as an event pianist since the 1980’s. If you would like to hire a pianist who is highly professional, easy to work with, and flexible about your song choices.

I will follow-up with you by email/text  about pre-event updates.

I will arrive early the day of your event.

What style of music will you play at my wedding ceremony, reception, party or corporate event? 
I am a pianist who is versatile in all musical styles: I play an appealing mix of songs for the different age groups of your guests: well known Classical music, American Classics, Jazz, Broadway, Holiday songs, popular favorites and current songs. 

Do you take requests?
Yes. I am a pianist who is familiar with classical music and popular songs from all the decades.
I will follow-up with you regarding the styles of music you would like me to play.

Will my guests be able to talk while you are playing? 
My music is in the background- your guests will be able to talk comfortably.

Where will you travel? 
Greater Boston area, Worcester, Central MA, South and North Shore, Andover area, Cape Cod ( Falmouth, Mashpee, Sandwich, Barnstable, Hyannis, Brewster, Yarmouth, Dennis, Chatham, and north), Attleboro area ( Wrentham, Foxboro, Walpole, Sharon...) Rhode Island ( Providence, Cranston, Warwick, Newport, all locations), Nashua area of New Hampshire.

Do you use an electric keyboard? 
Yes, if there is no piano available. My keyboard has a variety of realistic piano sounds.

Is your keyboard loud enough for my function?
I bring an amplifier and an additional speaker with my keyboard, and I can turn the volume up so it can be easily heard by your guests. I also bring a microphone for announcements, toasts, and guests who would like to sing.

Do you entertain at holiday parties?
I greatly enjoy playing for home and office holiday parties.
I also lead festive holiday sing-alongs, and I bring song sheets.

What is your background?
I was a former soloist with the Boston Pops, and I attended both the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester and Northeastern University.

Do you teach piano? 
I teach classical, Jazz, rock, pop piano, and music theory, and composition in my piano lessons to students of all ages and levels.

How do I hire you as a pianist for my function?
I will email or send you a contract and ask for a deposit to hold the date.
